Production Packer (All Shifts)

About the role

At M&M Industries, the Production Packer / Operator assembles and packs plastic pails and lids, ensuring every product meets quality standards and is ready to exceed customer expectations. Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.

Schedule

12-hour ABCD shifts on a 3-3-2 rotating schedule (every other weekend off).

• A & C Shift: 6:45 AM–7:00 PM (+$0.35/hr shift differential)
• B & D Shift: 6:45 PM–7:00 AM (+$1.35/hr shift differential)

Pay

Base pay progression (performance-based):

• $19.00/hr – Hire Date
• $19.49/hr – 90 Days
• $19.99/hr – 1 Year
• $20.49/hr – 2 Years
• $21.00/hr – 3 Years

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Install triggers, gaskets, tampers, vent plugs, metal/plastic spouts, and metal/plastic handles manually or with installer devices.
• Apply silicone to lids using a brush when required.
• Identify and report any product that does not meet quality standards before packing.
• Use a tape gun as needed to assemble boxes for lids.
• Operate the Child Warning Stamper to apply labels to pails.
• Accurately complete all required production and reject paperwork for your shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and handle a maximum of 20 pounds repetitively.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Perform work from a standing position.

Note: All work is performed in a manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold, and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (such as safety glasses and other protection as needed).
