Responsibilities

• Monitors and produces quality product.
• Operates multiple machines as allowed by product mixture, including Excellons, Hitachi routers and drillers, Pluritec 2nd drill machine, and blueprints.
• Loads programs into machines and troubleshoots problems during the process, consulting with supervisors as needed.
• Maintains equipment using a PM schedule.
• Works with other departments on job improvements and cross-trains to assist in all areas of the department.
• Completes all job-related paperwork accurately, timely, and ethically.
• Communicates regularly with supervisors/managers, suggests procedural changes, and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Properly handles and disposes of all waste, including hazardous wastes, as directed by the EHS department.
• Reports all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Performs job duties utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follows directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Understanding/knowledge of CNC, particularly Hitachi, Excellon, and Pluritec routers.
• Knowledge in using calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to work required shifts and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit, stand, or bend for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to work safely with or near chemical, physical (radiation, noise, etc.), or biological agents that may pose health or safety hazards if improperly handled.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, work in a team environment, and assist other departments when workloads demand it.
• Good interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and a detail-oriented approach.
• Must be approachable, trustworthy, punctual, self-disciplined, dependable, flexible, professional, self-motivated, and take pride in work.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately, organize facts and figures, and apply basic arithmetic.
