Production Operator - Packaging

About the role

Perform labeling, packing, checking, palletizing and other routine assignments based on appropriate work instructions or standard operation instructions. Will be rotated to help other teams from time to time including chicken powder processing team, filling team, janitorial team, mixing and cooking team, packaging team & sanitation team. Carry out special duties assigned by Production Supervisors, Production Manager and/or lead. Follow all company safety policy/procedure/GMPs/SSOP/HACCP. Assist the line lead or supervisor to set up any equipment related to production day. Assist the Production Supervisors or line lead in any other activities when called upon.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Read & write simple English preferred.
• Stand, use hands or fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work in rotating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read & write simple English preferred.
