Production Operator- Off Shift

Job Overview

Join Avery Dennison as a Coating Machine Operator. We are seeking a mechanically curious, results-driven professional to take ownership of our high-speed manufacturing lines.

Core Responsibilities

• Safely set up, run, and change over complex coating machinery, monitors, and winding consoles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems to diagnose and complete minor repairs to reduce downtime.
• Follow strict SOP guidelines and use precision measuring tools to conduct quality inspections, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Read digital gauges, meters, and flow ratios to adjust temperatures and pressures for continuous, optimal flow.
• Maintain accurate digital logs while fostering a "Team Before Self" environment to meet safe production goals.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating computer applications for data entry and production tracking.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand/walk up to 80% of a shift;
• Lift up to 50 lbs;
• Bend, reach, or squat frequently.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to shifting priorities.

Shift and Pay

• Shift: Rotating Day & Night Shifts (5:50 AM – 6:00 PM / 5:50 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Pay: $25.09/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential
