About the role
Join Golden Pet Manufacturing, a leader in creating nutritionally-dense, thoughtfully-sourced pet food solutions. This is a night-shift Production Operator position located in Seward, NE.
Responsibilities
- Work safely, complying with all safety, quality, and sanitation policies and procedures; proactively identify and report potential safety hazards.
- Adhere to the production schedule as outlined by the supply chain team and collect data for delays.
- Perform required quality checks and continuously monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate all equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including setup and breakdown; notify maintenance of mechanical issues and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Cross-train in various positions within and possibly outside the department.
- Move products manually or with assisted devices/equipment while following food safety and sanitary standards.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and 5S practices; maintain hygiene and housekeeping in your work area.
Qualifications

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work well both individually and within a team.
- Willingness to work all shifts/schedules as needed.
- Capability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk extensively during a 10–12-hour shift.
- Ability to work frequently indoors in a cooled, sanitary environment with temperatures at or below 45 degrees.
- Comfort working around loud production equipment.
