Production Operator II (Filler)
Location: Amarillo, TX – Fill Plant (Filling industrial gases)
About the role
You will make and/or repackage and pump compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders. Conduct pre-fill and post-fill inspections and perform tests on cylinders before they are released for distribution. Fill cylinders to the proper capacity by following safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures. Accurately maintain cylinder filling records and ensure all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate filling equipment to produce and repackage compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders.
- Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections and required tests on cylinders.
- Maintain accurate cylinder filling records in compliance with all regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift and become forklift certified.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S.; must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of forklift experience preferred.
