Production Operator I (Quapaw, OK*)
About the role

Responsibilities
- Observe all safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Apply quality instructions & specifications.
- Monitor the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Loading/unloading material into & from equipment.
- Working as a team member through sharing information, problem solving & assisting others.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- One (1) year of hands-on experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Must recognize any non-standard conditions and/or raw materials and know when to take the necessary action or seek advice.
- Must use judgement to perform semi-repetitive job involving some variety of detail or responsibility.
- Operate PLC or DCS controls, hand tools, various powered trucks, valves, and some test equipment; set up and operate equipment where moderate adjustment is required.
- Close attention to detail, such as process conditions, is required at all times to avoid costly rework, production delays, safety incidents or scrap.
- Continuous monitoring of equipment, process and product quality; ability to operate in an environment where complex machine operations happen simultaneously; ability to plan ahead in the process and production schedule to complete tasks in a timely fashion; execute proper in-process tests.
Qualifications
- Perform work requiring general knowledge of production principles where productive process depends on an ability to detect and correct the defect.
- Basic understanding of Lean principles.
- Recognize any non-standard conditions and/or raw materials and know when to take the necessary action or seek advice.
- Use judgement to perform semi-repetitive job involving some variety of detail or responsibility where actions to be taken and decisions to be made are limited.
- Operate PLC or DCS controls, hand tools, various powered trucks, valves, and some test equipment; set up and operate equipment where moderate adjustment is required.
- Close attention to detail, such as process conditions, is required at all times to avoid costly rework, production delays, safety incidents or scrap.

Pay
The starting rate of pay for this position is $22.30, with a potential to reach through step progression $29.74. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
