Key Responsibilities
- Melt fats as required by the operation.
- Supply the raw material (powders, liquor, fats) required by each recipe.
- Ensure the correct raw materials are ready for consumption.
- Ensure cleanliness and optimum condition of the equipment before starting.
- Notify the Shift Leader if there are any issues with the equipment.
- Monitor temperatures of melters and check sugar levels in PLC at the beginning of the shift.
- Dump materials (powders) according to recipe.
- Re-fill internal silos to meet the requirements of the Liquid Lines.
- Receive raw materials from the warehouse and follow the priorities set by the Leader.
- Use the appropriate materials based on the process order and consult the Shift Leader for guidance.
- Select the correct destination tank to transfer the material.
- Support in cleaning nozzle plates, packaging lines, reworking, and re-packaging.
- Notify the leader in charge of any anomalies that deviate from the established procedures.
About You
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum 1 year of production manufacturing experience.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Good organization, math, written, and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
- Experience driving forklifts is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Able to lift at least 25 kg (50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in environments with temperatures ranging from 100°F to 120°F.
