Production Operator I (Byhalia)

Essential Job Functions

• Must adhere to all safe work practices and rules.
• Performs tasks associated with general production processes.
• Processes raw materials, delivers supplies and components to appropriate workstations.
• Palletizes finished products.
• Practices 6S and maintains cleanliness of work areas and floors.
• Affords assistance to machine operators and Team Leaders when necessary.
• Reports immediately any safety or maintenance concerns to appropriate team leaders.
• Operates basic machinery.
• Completes required paperwork accurately.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Will learn basic set-ups and the 6S process.
• Two years of experience as a Production Operator preferred, but not required.
• No related experience required.
• May be paired with another qualified Manufacturing Operator for training and guidance.
• Learns the responsibilities of being a team member and collaborates primarily within the immediate work unit.
