Production Operator (FEM1 7am-3pm)

About the role

As a Production Operator, you will operate and monitor multiple workstations to produce quality parts in compliance with specifications, SOPs, and work instructions. Responsibilities include proper equipment setup, adherence to production schedules, verification of product quality, accurate material identification, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following all safety and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to five workstations or production cells to manufacture parts in accordance with equipment specifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Ensure equipment setup is completed per established work instructions and that all processes are executed correctly.
• Monitor equipment performance to verify that all produced parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Align the operations of the production equipment with daily and weekly production plans.
• Ensure all materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods are properly labeled and identified at every stage of the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to housekeeping expectations, including 5S work environment standards.

Environment & Safety

The work on the shop floor is within a non-climate-controlled environment. Employees should be comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold) and in conditions that include exposure to forklift and pedestrian traffic, as well as elevated noise levels. Safety is the highest priority; all employees must consistently follow established safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel or composite toe footwear, and, in limited cases, hearing protection.

Schedule

This is a 24/7 facility with multiple shift schedules:

• Blow Mold: 12-hour rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).
• BMD1/D2 (Day Shift): 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• BMN1/N2 (Night Shift): 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Assembly (8-hour shifts):
• FEM1 (1st shift): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• FEM2 (2nd shift): 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• FEM3 (3rd shift): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This position is expected to work every other weekend based on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic math required.
• Ability to complete basic data entry in computer systems.
• Operate up to 5 workstations in the Final Assembly area.
• Proficiency in spoken and reading English sufficient to perform the essential functions of this role.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
