Production Operator

Job Summary

Uniroyal Engineered Products is hiring Production Operators for its Coat Department. Positions are available in Coating Machine Operations and Compounding.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow work instructions, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform quality inspections and document production information.
• Make routine machine adjustments as needed.
• Absorb material and provide production support activities.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate equipment, quality, and safety concerns to supervision.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and production objectives.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Other Experience and Qualifications

Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Basic math skills including averages, percentages, proportions, and measurements are required. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions is essential.
