Production Operator

About the role

This position involves performing routine production functions such as filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision. Accurate record-keeping and log maintenance are also required, adhering to FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Fills, operates utilities, packs, packages, assembles, labels, and inspects products.
• Maintains accurate records and logs according to FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards.
• Works effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Makes effective decisions relevant to the position.
• Follows instructions and operates within established routines and standard practices.
• Works under direct supervision, adhering to standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic skills in tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
• Effective communication skills to understand and convey specifications written in English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Flexible and willing to work flexible and/or extended hours.
• Willing to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid Green Card.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours.
• Must be able to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Schedule

The initial schedule is 5 days a week, 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. There is an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes. If interested in full-time employment, the schedule will change to 12-hour shifts during the night, 7pm-7am.
