Joining the Team

The Production Operator role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities include manual material handling, monitoring processes, and adhering to safety protocols. Shifts are typically 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM.

A Day in the Life

• Comply with safety regulations and participate in safety programs.
• Perform sustained manual labor, including lifting, moving, and loading materials.
• Weigh, measure, and stage materials with precision.
• Operate and support plant equipment, conduct quality control tests, and document production data.
• Support maintenance and technical teams as needed.
• Operate an electric hand pallet truck to transport materials.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Stand and perform tasks for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Work in hot, cold, dusty, noisy, and industrial settings.
• Ability to climb stairs and work at heights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a physically demanding production or industrial role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and schedule changes.
• Follow written and verbal operating and safety procedures.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Pre-employment screening including employment history verification, background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and safety focus.

Preferred/Highly Relevant Experience

• Experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services, chemical or refinery operations, wastewater treatment, sanitation, or other heavy industrial labor environments.

Compensation

• Starting pay at $23.36 / hour
• $2.00 shift differential
• Progressive pay increases and on-the-job training
