About the role
Under direct supervision, assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete units within routine and repetitive assembly operations.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- May perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks of a standard nature.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Able to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Able to learn how to operate basic machinery.
- Able to paint and work with insulation.
Qualifications

Pay
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $17/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
