Job Responsibilities
- Operating manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instructions
- Adhering to safety policies, programs, and procedures
- Inspecting raw materials and finished products per quality specifications
- Conducting quality checks at regular intervals
- Working closely with the production team to meet goals/objectives
- Operating counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
- Entering waste, downtime data into the system
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff
Qualifications
- Must be able to work a 10 or 12 hour rotating shift (days/nights), including some future weekends
- Preferred: Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience
- Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
- Good communication skills
- Able to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
