Production Operator

About the role

Gates is a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. Our Galesburg plant is seeking Production Operators who are inspired by challenging the status quo and thrive in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with others to lift, measure, mix, and monitor machinery and gauges.
• Operate machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
• Work shifts: 1st: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm, 2nd: Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm, 3rd: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction.
• Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills.
