About the role
Gates is a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. Our Galesburg plant is seeking Production Operators who are inspired by challenging the status quo and thrive in collaborative environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with others to lift, measure, mix, and monitor machinery and gauges.
- Operate machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
- Work shifts: 1st: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm, 2nd: Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm, 3rd: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am.
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction.
- Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills.
