Summary

The Production Operator ensures the production of high-quality residential roofing materials through accurate, timely, and efficient manufacturing processes, including machine operation, quality verification, packaging, housekeeping, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and forklifts
• Production and/or shipment of quality products
• Record and document all required data on the computer and/or in written form
• Follow all safety, operational, maintenance, and housekeeping policies and procedures
• Complete product testing and inspections in accordance with product and quality specifications
• Alert supervisor to variations in the production process at all times
• Perform other duties related to plant operations as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in manufacturing concepts and safety practices and procedures is preferred but not required
• A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and a willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
• Physical demands: Stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and stairs, bend at the knees and waist, lift up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs. (with assistance)

Qualifications

• Must have ability to work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa sponsorship
• Base Hourly Rate: $25.40
