We are looking for a Production Operator for one of our manufacturing clients located in Mokena, IL.
Pay
$45K – $80K
Schedule
Afternoon shift
Responsibilities
- Meet production and quality goals while following safe work practices.
- Operate machinery to grind, package, shrink-wrap, and move products to the warehouse.
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products.
- Report equipment or process issues and assist Maintenance with troubleshooting when needed.
- Assist with batch preparation, product separation, machine changeovers, and equipment cleaning.
- Collect product samples and deliver them to the QA lab for testing.
- Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow ISO 9001 and plant quality standards.
- Assist with unloading empty drums and other materials as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and English communication skills.
- Ability to work safely with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented.
