Production Operator
Job Summary
Avery Dennison Oak Harbor will be facilitating on-site interviews Tuesday 6/30/26 from 10am-12pm & 2pm-4pm.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine set-up and changeover of machines, making adjustments as needed to process operations accordingly.
- Run orders per product specifications and standard practices. This may include sorting, labeling, and packaging products per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
- Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring tools, tape measures, etc.
- Understand and implement quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
- Maintain the work area with necessary supplies to complete processes.
- Operate heavy equipment to move, load, and ship material and/or finished products throughout the manufacturing environment.
- Support inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts and correcting discrepancies to achieve business goals.
- Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility.
- Contribute and participate in team decision-making processes including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Provide support in project work and other special requests.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience
- Must be able to follow written and oral instruction
- Must prioritize safety in every aspect of the working environment adhering to established safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and move around for extended periods

Physical Requirements
- Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
- Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
- Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
