Production Operator/ Assembler

Primary Duties

• Assemble/drill parts in accordance with standardized work and job instructions
• Confirm quality of work performed
• Technical capacity to run equipment within the facility
• May operate material handling equipment including forklifts
• Works and communicates with other employees
• Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with safety rules
• Maintain clean working environment

Requirements & Skills

• Must be able to work on a contract basis for the first 30 days
• Must be able to read and follow standardized work and job instructions
• Must have basic computer skills
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Communicate effectively with other employees in assigned zone and attend all zone meetings, problem solving sessions, training, etc.
• May be required to learn multiple jobs
• Able to use assigned hand tools, power tools, and torque tools
