About the role

Under limited supervision, the Machine Operator 5 works independently and uses judgement to fabricate material using equipment with a high degree of complexity and computerized controls. The Machine Operator 5 reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams and operates a variety of equipment involved in daily manufacturing processes, including robotic, computer-controlled, automatic, or semi-automatic machines. The Machine Operator 5 performs computer downloads containing specifications that direct the machine to operate efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in manufacturing operations
• Proficiency with computerized control systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to operate heavy machinery and stand for extended periods
