Production Operator - 2nd Shift
About the Role
As an Assembly Producer at MAHLE, you will operate a press or assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a press, filling machine, or conveyor line. The position is responsible for accurately and thoroughly completing and maintaining all daily paperwork associated with the assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Read gauges and record findings
- Measure sizes of parts in millimeters
- Use a computer, especially SAP, OEE, and label programs
- Maintain attention to detail and a high quality orientation
- Move product, material, and/or equipment to and from designated areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards inside and outside of the facility
- Safely and efficiently operate all machinery
- Perform work in an environmentally conscious manner and reduce waste
- Work all designated shifts
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Work in a team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read gauges and record findings
- Ability to measure sizes of parts in millimeters
- Proficiency in using a computer, especially SAP, OEE, and label programs
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Ability to move product, material, and/or equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment following 5S standards
- Experience safely and efficiently operating machinery
- Environmentally conscious work habits with a focus on waste reduction
- Flexibility to work all designated shifts
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
