Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Nutra Blend is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The Production Operator performs manufacturing processes that add value and quality to inputs, creating high-quality final products. Operators may work in various sub-classifications, including handling raw materials, executing proprietary processes, or packaging final products. Safety, attention to detail, quality, sanitation, and efficiency are critical to success.

2nd Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)

Pay

$21.75 per hour + shift differential

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes to produce high-quality feed premixes.
• Handle raw materials, execute proprietary production processes, and package final products.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Adapt to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures, dust, and extended physical activity.

Requirements

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety for self and coworkers.
• Reliable time management and adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work well in a team and adjust to changes.
• Active learning and listening skills.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Work in cold and/or hot environments for extended periods.
• Work in dusty environments.
• Work shift schedules that include days, nights, weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
