About the Role

Under immediate supervision, the Machine Operator will operate specific machinery and perform more complex mechanical set-ups, including set up and operation of production lines. Acts as a group leader. Makes minor adjustments and verifies quality of own work.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in compliance with standard operating procedures and rotate through various stations on the lines where needed to ensure production needs are met.
• Perform and complete accurate and timely quality check sheets as defined on machine checklist and understand noncompliant product holds and make corrective actions as needed.
• Perform standard run rates, along with increasing efficiency and reducing shrink by playing an active role with the team members to meet company goals.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Comply with safety policies, participate in the plant's safety program, and be proactive with safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED not required.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• Quality-minded, conscientious, and self-motivated.
• Effective communication skills.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $20.51 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

This is a 1st shift position.
