About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our production lines, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards. You'll follow standard operating procedures and contribute to the overall smooth flow of our production process, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production lines, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimal product quality.
  • Accurately record hourly readings and all necessary process information, ensuring meticulous documentation.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks to maintain line efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and pack out finished products for shipment, ensuring they are ready for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift, promoting a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Safely load and offload materials using a forklift, contributing to efficient material handling.
  • Provide coverage and support to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven forklift experience: minimum of 2 years preferred.
  • Basic computer skills: some familiarity with computers to assist with record keeping and potential system interaction.
  • Excellent time management skills and adaptability: ability to manage your time effectively and adapt to changing production needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills: ensuring accuracy in production and effectively troubleshooting issues when they arise.
  • Clear communication: good written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and following procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation: hold a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation to ensure punctuality for shifts.
  • Commitment to safety: must be clean-shaven daily for mandatory respirator use.

Pay

Start with a base pay of $22.00 per hour.
