Schedule

Wednesday-Friday / Wednesday-Saturday Rotating Weeks, 7pm – 7am.

Pay

Starting Pay: $19.50 – 25.00 based on experience. Position is also eligible for a $1.00 shift differential.

About the role

Buffalo Tungsten is seeking a Production Operator to support our powder production business. As a Production Operator, you will:

  • Operate production furnaces
  • Work in the spray room
  • Conduct activities related to the manufacturing process, such as operating machinery and keeping accurate records
  • Operate a forklift
  • Complete work orders and pack materials for shipment
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager

This role will be based at our site in Buffalo (Depew), New York.

Requirements

  • Be able to stand or walk most of the day
  • Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances
  • Can follow procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields is beneficial
