About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operator to join our Agronomy and Grain Operations team. The Operator will assist the agronomy and grain departments with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment, including loading out chemical, seed, or fertilizer to customers. This role involves frequent operation of Payloaders, Skidloaders, Tractor/Mowers, Locomotives, Telehandlers, and Forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks and railcars, handle grain (e.g., filling or reclaiming ground piles, transferring, and blending).
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repair work.
• Monitor equipment, operate control systems, process samples, and use computer systems to input and record data.
• Interact regularly with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement of facility operations, and promote a teamwork-focused environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, including OSHA regulations, vehicle policy, fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/GED or 0-1 year of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• English proficiency.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture.
