Production Material Planner

About the role

Manage inventory accuracy for the material in process across multiple production lines. Conduct Cycle Counts and maintain inventory accuracy in SAP. Track and coordinate between SCM and Production daily shipments and material shortages to maintain the optimal production sequence and on time delivery. Manage and coordinate annual physical inventory among the areas in the plant. Analyze and drive inventory management continues improvement projects. Define kanban, Milk run and Supermarket for production floor. Data driven, Clear Facts and Results mindset focused on inventory management, and production output.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy for the material in process across multiple production lines

• Track and coordinate between SCM and Production daily shipments and material shortages to maintain the optimal production sequence and on time delivery
• Manage and coordinate annual physical inventory among the areas in the plant

• Define kanban, Milk run and Supermarket for production floor

Requirements

• Required Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in a related field
• 2 years of proven experience in inventory management or production management
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to lift up to 28 pounds unassisted and stand for periods of up to 12 hours
• Must have the capability to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain Management (modules SD, PP, MM, WM)
• Experience organizing multidisciplinary team efforts such as process, quality test engineers and technician’s supervisor, stockroom supervisor, etc.
