Production Material Handler- I (AM Shift)

About the role
Silvus is seeking a Production Material Handler-I to support smooth production flow by managing the movement, tracking, and administrative handling of materials between Production, Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, and Shipping Departments. This role involves both physical handling and clerical processing of materials, ensuring timely delivery of components, inventory accuracy, and support for internal change orders or customer-driven modifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily material delivery and pickup between the Stockroom, Production stations, Quality, and Shipping areas.
- Reallocate materials across job codes in the ERP system based on customer cancellations, change orders, or shipping schedule shifts.
- Pull, stage, and verify materials for Sales Orders in coordination with Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, Shipping, and Production teams.
- Support Production by transporting electronic materials, bins, and ESD bags between suites and stations.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, and Shipping teams to ensure proper issuance, tracking, and documentation of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and transactions in the system.
- Support inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts, month-end and year-end physical inventory counts, and audits.
- Ensure adherence to ESD and material handling protocols to prevent damage or contamination.
- Assist in other production support or logistics duties as assigned by Production leadership.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse experience, with a preference for handling electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies, and accessories.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong initiative, sound judgment, and excellent follow-through skills.
- Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
- All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.
Working Conditions
- Office environment with physical demands including bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pay
$23 - $25 per hour. This range is based on market research and peer data and may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Fully onsite, Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles.
