Production Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Ichor Precision Machining (IPM) is seeking a general labor position with opportunities for cross-training and assisting in various production areas. The role involves loading and unloading equipment, performing inspections, and operating various machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• General labor tasks including loading and unloading various types of cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, carrying plates, nitrogen dry parts, leak, function and flow testing, bagging, packaging, and other duties.
• Demonstrate ability to operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machines, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, leak, flow, and function testing equipment.
• Operate ultra sonic wash, electro polish, and insert installation stations.
• Maintain and monitor supplies, understand material replenishment reordering systems, and perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed.
• Work in clean room, clean line, or assembly areas as workflow dictates.
• Follow and perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Understand and follow all Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• High level of production skills.
• Clean room experience.
• Good work ethic with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of controlled process regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate various machinery and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Skills

• Operational proficiency with microscopes, profilometers, lapping machines, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, leak, flow, and function testing equipment.
• Knowledge of controlled process regulations.

Pay and Schedule

The pay range is $17.12 - $29.09 hourly, non-exempt. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
