Position Overview The Mechanical Engineer II is the catalyst for technical problem solving and continuous improvement on the manufacturing line. This role works as part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement, implementing and revising processes to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production process to improve; product flow, yield, and uptime.
• Optimize current equipment and improve process capabilities.
• Develop the team to utilize problem solving techniques and methods, and provide leadership in the identification, analysis, and resolution of issues.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts within the line support team and manage product and process improvement initiatives on the production line
• Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate variation in the production process caused by equipment and/or product design.
