Production Manger

Description Lead, optimize, and ensure excellence in production operations. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive efficiency, quality, and team success. In this role, you will lead production staff, manage resources, and ensure that products are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and timeliness. You will play a critical role in shaping production processes, supporting continuous improvement, and aligning the department with company goals. Mindset: Own production results, focus on improvement, and balance daily tasks with long-term goals Soft Skills: Communicate clearly, collaborate, adapt quickly, and resolve conflicts constructively Leadership Expectations: Lead by example, develop the team, manage processes, optimize resources, and meet goals safely and efficiently Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery goalsSupervise and support production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedbackDevelop and maintain production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resourcesMonitor KPIs and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulationsCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and other teams to resolve production challengesDrive the adoption of lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organizationManage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing for material needsPrepare and present regular reports on production performance, metrics, and challengesLead problem-solving efforts to minimize downtime and improve workflowSupport employee development and foster a culture of continuous improvement Requirements 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations managementStrong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and developmentKnowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practicesExperience managing schedules, production metrics, and resource planningFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting toolsSolid understanding of safety standards, quality control, and compliance practicesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent organizational and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
