Production Manager, Packaging

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day performance of the Packaging department, with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and schedule attainment.
• Coach, develop and support supervisors and team members across shifts, building accountability, engagement and a strong team culture.
• Ensure production runs safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with Maintenance and Plant leadership to improve equipment reliability, coordinate preventative maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Optimize the use of people, materials and equipment while reducing waste and improving overall performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify practical opportunities to make our processes safer, simpler and more efficient.
• Build strong partnerships across the plant and with teams including RD&I, Purchasing and Capital Planning.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management and development of team members.
• Champion GMP, SOP, SQF, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Lead by example and bring Nature’s Path values to life on the plant floor.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including people leadership experience.
• A degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong safety mindset and working knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety practices.
• Experience improving manufacturing processes, productivity and operational performance.
• Experience with manufacturing control/scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.
• Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of HACCP, SQF, QAI and/or Kosher standards is an asset.
• A collaborative, respectful leadership style and the ability to work effectively across departments and shifts.
• Flexibility to support team members across shifts when needed.

Compensation

$90,000–$125,000 USD per year + a 15% bonus. Actual base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills and alignment with the requirements of the role.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with flexibility to support our manufacturing teams and operations when needed.
