As a Production Manager on our Millwork team, you’ll collaborate with a talented group to bring creative ideas to life within client budgets and timelines, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all assigned projects, including timelines, scopes, and resourcing needs.
- Evaluate production requirements, including business needs and material/technical specifications.
- Plan production strategies and timelines, prioritizing and optimizing workflows to improve team output with a focus on quality.
- Act as a liaison with other internal departments to ensure client needs are met within project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure assembly integrity through continuous monitoring of departmental processes.
- Anticipate production needs and problems, escalating concerns to your supervisor for quick resolution.
- Circulate production details and elements for internal review in alignment with timelines, fostering open communication on the production floor.
- Maintain expertise in new technology, trends, prices, production techniques, and suppliers.
- Support a safe environment, driving toward zero OSHA recordables.
- Represent and communicate corporate policy to employees as required.
- Develop the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Drive improvements in material flow, including cell design and material delivery.
- Interact with other support departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in wood products.
- OSHA 10 Hour certification is a plus.
- Ability to accurately use and understand measuring devices to ensure work matches drawing specifications.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines throughout the workday.
- High levels of customer service within the organization.
- Understanding and maintenance of The Bernard Group’s values and standards related to customer confidentiality, organizational principles, and employee information.
- Professionalism with customers and management while taking action to achieve corporate goals and initiatives.

- Demonstrate the "Art of Teams" mentality: effectively communicate with the fabrication team to align production schedules with customer needs.

Pay
Compensation Range: $73,600 - $88,300 annually. Range reflects our good-faith assessment based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
