Production Manager II
About the role
The Production Manager II oversees and leads all production processes and operations ensuring they run reliably, efficiently, and in accordance with the build schedules set to meet the demand for finished products. They are responsible for maintaining a close working relationship with planning, quality control, manufacturing engineering, marketing, and R&D management. The role involves allocating resources, adhering to cost, quality, and budgetary constraints and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 50+ production employees across Precast, 2nd Ops, and Packaging, driving accountability, performance, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Execute and optimize production schedules to meet demand for finished goods, balancing quality, cost, and on-time delivery across multiple product lines.
- Own a budget of up to $2M, identifying and executing cost reduction initiatives that directly improve gross margin for the 925 site.
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, QC, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Marketing to ensure smooth new product introductions and product lifecycle transitions.
- Champion compliance with regulatory and quality standards in a GMP-regulated environment, resolving operational challenges and removing obstacles that impact safety, quality, or throughput.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
- Work Experience: 10+ years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8-10 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Familiarity with SAP and other manufacturing materials systems.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $137,600 to $189,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
Schedule
This position is full-time and requires regular attendance and availability during normal business hours.
