About The Role

Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostics is searching for a Production Manager to join our operations team in Arden Hills, MN. This role reports to a Senior Production Manager and shares responsibility for leading a team of Production Supervisors and 190+ hourly Production employees. The Production Manager will collaborate daily with Quality and Engineering teams to manage Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost while delivering strategic initiatives for the business.

This role is on-site at our Arden Hills, Minnesota location, requiring full-time office attendance. Boston Scientific will not offer or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hourly and daily Production metrics and coach Production and Core Team staff to achieve department goals.
• Develop business unit strategy and sponsor projects to drive improvements in safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Set department budgets for labor, overhead, freight, and capital expenses, then monitor performance against plan to deliver cost targets.
• Coach Supervisors in managing production staffing levels against forecasted demand to ensure adequate staffing and training for build plans.
• Manage the SIOP process against three-year windows to plan sufficient capacity for future volumes.
• Partner with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Experience teams to deliver key business initiatives, including new product launches.
• Develop direct reports through one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and progressive disciplinary action as needed.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with external and company policies (e.g., FDA, Boston Scientific attendance policies).
• Establish and promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a production/operations environment.
• Proven people leadership skills with experience managing a large, diverse team.
• Ability to lead teams in achieving organizational metrics and goals.
• Experience fostering an inclusive workplace where all participants contribute to their full potential.
• Experience coaching and developing direct reports.
• Experience monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence Principles.
• Project Management experience.
• Master’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in Medical Device manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $102,100
Maximum Salary: $194,000

The anticipated compensation will vary based on location, experience, education, and other relevant factors. Compensation may also include variable pay (e.g., overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, or long-term incentives) subject to eligibility and requirements.
