Production Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing and Process Engineering functions within the Cable Manufacturing, Cable Assembly, and specialty products operations.
• Cook up coordination of the manufacturing of products in line with company goals and objectives.
• Develop a strong and effective team by providing coaching/mentorship of team members.
• Implement a team structure to grow and support the business.
• Recommend necessary resources to ensure success, including capital equipment, trained team members, appropriate facilities, effective infrastructure, and materials.
• Coordinate with other manufacturing sites (West Palm Beach, FL, Wallingford, CT).
• Deliver on targets for key performance metrics: quality, cost/productivity, inventory and on-time delivery.
• Organize and direct workflow to meet production requirements in a cost-efficient manner.
• Promote and drive compliance with all standard operating procedures.
• Drive superior customer service (on-time delivery and responsiveness).
• Advance a culture of continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma and other appropriate techniques.

• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Proficient with ERP software and reporting tools; Oracle preferred.
