Responsibilities
- You will lead a team of Biochemists that manufacture bioconjugate components of immunoassay reagents
- You will support production scheduling, purchasing of externally sourced raw materials, and ensure that production processes are completed expediently without sacrificing quality
- You will assist with problem solving and technical troubleshooting of conjugate manufacturing processes and associated equipment
- You will demonstrate expertise in protein biochemistry, especially bioconjugation techniques
- You will utilize your expertise in size exclusion chromatography, including mastery of FPLC operation and troubleshooting
- You will perform manufacturing resource planning, especially familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules
- You will monitor key performance indicators for production timeliness and customer satisfaction and ensure Class A Manufacturing performance
- You will have experience in Lean manufacturing and help promote Lean philosophy to improve productivity while also minimizing waste
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5-8 years reagent manufacturing experience; including experience in a GMP/GDP environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor

Pay
The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $99,930 - $137,401 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
