Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, industrial laundry, or related environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Results-oriented with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Comfortable working throughout the production floor and occasionally performing physical job functions.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Military leadership and operations experience is highly valued.

About the Role

The Production Manager leads and supervises daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service objectives are achieved. They direct and support a team of 50+ production, maintenance, and support employees, plan, organize, and coordinate workflow across multiple departments to meet production schedules and customer requirements, monitor staffing levels, labor utilization, and departmental performance to maximize productivity, establish clear communication and accountability throughout the production team, partner with the Plant Manager to recruit, train, develop, and retain employees, conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action as needed, monitor production metrics, quality standards, attendance, safety practices, and operational performance, identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and quality, promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, and support plant operations as needed and perform additional responsibilities assigned by management.
