Production Manager
Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for organizing and supervising work in the Production Department. Performs other duties as required and reports to the General Manager or Operations Manager.
Essential Functions
- Makes sure recommended changes in work methods and/or equipment usage are implemented to improve labor utilization, production efficiency, and department expenses.
- Leads, trains, and supervises the Production staff and departments.
- Oversees all new hire training and conducts regular and ongoing training in all departments.
- Consults with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
- Ensures the execution of company production policies, procedures, and standards.
- Sets, monitors, and enforces standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety.
- Holds departments accountable for meeting department budgets, hiring, disciplining, and managing employee relations.
- Fulfills written and verbal instructions, attends meetings, and performs other tasks as directed by supervision.
Additional Functions
- Supports other branch personnel as required by supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of business management experience in a production environment with strong supervisory and management skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
- Recognizes colors, sizes, and types of product.
- Accurately counts, adds, and subtracts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, and good time management skills.
- High school graduation or equivalent experience.

About the Role
This position is exempt and falls within the classification exempt compensation range of $80,000 - $90,000.
