PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for meeting production, quality, and safety targets
- Directly manage, coach, and develop all department personnel
- Manage the department in a cost-effective manner through sound production planning and resource allocation
- Exercise independent judgment in production scheduling, staffing, and operational decision-making
- Maintain the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to support production requirements
- Review production records for accuracy and performance tracking
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Affirm and recommend in equipment acquisition, upgrades, and process improvements
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment in accordance with HSE procedures
- Comply with all NOV Company and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Ensure alignment with company objectives and operational goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- 5+ years experience in production and/or manufacturing environment
- 2–5 years experience in a supervisory or management role
- Oilfield equipment manufacturing knowledge preferred
- Working knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound operational decisions
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels
- Team building and employee development
- Computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting
