Production Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain donut shop operations, including production of quality baked goods according to deadlines.
• Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions.
• Plan and review compensation actions, enforce company policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
• Accurately tabulate payroll for back-of-house staff.
• Estimate food costs and manage staff to achieve cost and profit goals.
• Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities, minimizing waste, and ensuring high quality.
• Maximize restaurant profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
• Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, utensil quality and placement, and monitoring food presentation and service.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

• Open availability and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English speaker with ability to train staff in English; bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
• Mastery of Baker I, II, III, and Assistant Production Manager job descriptions.
• Oral and written communication skills, customer relations, customer service, diplomacy, math aptitude, organizational professionalism, presentation reading skills, computer literacy, keyboard skills, supervisory skills, and self-motivation.
• Valid Driver’s License - meets insurance underwriting requirements.
