Production Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains donut shop operations, including production of quality baked goods according to deadlines.
• Recruits, selects, trains, assigns, schedules, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and appraises employees.
• Accurately tabulates payroll and communicates job expectations.
• Manages food costs and staff to achieve cost and profit goals.
• Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities, minimizing waste, and ensuring high quality.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation standards, complying with regulations, and managing security systems.
• Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, music, and service quality.
• Updates job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
• Accepts ownership for new requests and explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

• Open availability and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English speaker with the ability to train staff in English; bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
• Mastery of Baker I, II, III, and Assistant Production Manager job descriptions.
• Valid Driver’s License - meets insurance underwriting requirements.
