Production Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Captures production processes and activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and resource utilization.
• Ensures the quality of products and services to internal and external customers through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains equipment and facilities to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Communicates company goals and objectives to various departments and relays employee concerns to upper management.
• Optimizes manufacturing processes and ensures products adhere to customer specifications.
• Accurately inputs and communicates production data to the Operations Manager.
• Maintains control over inventories, including raw materials and finished products.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
• Understanding of manufacturing and production principles in the industry.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems like SAP.
• Good understanding of finance, including income statements, balance sheets, budgets, and planning.
• Ability to multi-task.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Five (5) years manufacturing experience, preferably in an integrated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Five (5) years supervisory experience preferred.
