We are hiring a Production Manager to support the US Scripted Production team. The Production Manager is responsible for a high volume of tasks including single-threaded management of series, calendar management, organization of production documents, and production data tracking. They will work with both external and internal partners to oversee projects from pitch to greenlight, through production, and bring them to fruition on time and on budget. An enthusiastic, team-oriented approach is essential; the position requires the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the studio and show level. There is an enormous growth opportunity for those passionate about physical production and becoming production executives. Key job responsibilities  You oversee multiple scripted projects in development and production with guidance.  You meet with show producers, production managers, and creative executives in budget and production meetings.  You work with partner teams and production companies on production safety, security, insurance, labor, immigration, visa, travel, and tax issues.  You are on-set when necessary to evaluate work-flow, budgets and potential problems both domestically and abroad (as needed).  You analyze budgets and cost reports working closely with production finance to ensure delivery of all required assets.  You may lead project kick-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders.  You manage projects with other internal departments such as creative, marketing, press, business affairs, legal, finance, and tax.  You have experience with industry unions and guilds both domestically and internationally Basic Qualifications 3+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience 3+ years of producer, production manager or line producer experience 3+ years of overseeing and managing projects and deadlines experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post production Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
