Troubleshooting and Repair
The Production Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated production equipment. This includes diagnosing equipment failures and implementing countermeasures to reduce downtime.
Maintenance Activities
Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are performed to ensure equipment reliability. This involves setting up, testing, adjusting, and verifying equipment operation according to company safety standards.
Technical Skills
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Programmable Logic Control (PLC) troubleshooting experience.
Problem-Solving and Communication
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills are utilized to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Strong communication skills are used to convey maintenance issues, repair status, and recommendations to leadership and team members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent military maintenance experience.
- Completion of formal apprenticeship training program to the satisfaction of DENSO management, or 2 years of industrial maintenance education.
- Ability to troubleshoot 480-volt 3 phase electrical systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to document maintenance activities.
- Sufficient analysis and planning skills to understand maintenance instructions, troubleshoot operating systems, and plan work based on such information and analysis results.
