PRODUCTION MACHINIST II -1ST SHIFT

Responsibilities

  • Applies basic job skills to operate CNC machining equipment and perform various secondary tasks such as tumbling, reworking, and cleaning.
  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately operate CNC machining equipment.
  • Work with team to troubleshoot operations and/or flow issues.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Maintain records of production quantities and time.
  • Could include operating Screw Machine: Citizen, SR10, Tsugami, SR20 Machine, Operating Milling Shipping Secondary work.

Requirements

  • Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering diagrams, and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and operating machining equipment.
  • Performing various tasks like deburring, cleaning, sanding, setting up, operating the machining equipment, and troubleshooting the operation and flow issues.
  • Following the standard operating procedures, meeting the specified quality and productivity standards, and documenting time and production quantity records.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects, and completing appropriate documentation.

Schedule

This position will be working first shift, 5:30 A.M.- 4:00 P.M., 4—10 hour shifts Monday thru Thursday.

Qualifications

  • Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position.
  • Use independent judgement and basic problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions, with a high attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $24.71 - $37.02 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
