Responsibilities
- Run machines that produce parts or products
- Follow written instructions and work orders
- Complete production paperwork
- Load and set up parts on machines
- Remove finished parts from machines using hand tools and air hoses
- Inspect products for defects using measuring tools
- Adhere to company and customer quality standards
- Smooth, sand, or polish metal or plastic parts as required
- Complete labels and paperwork for products
- Pack finished products for shipping
- Maintain a clean work area
- Repair or rework products when necessary
- Cover for coworkers during breaks
- Perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience helpful but not required
- Able to read and understand instructions, safety rules, and work orders
- Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, measurement)
- Able to complete simple paperwork by hand
- Good hand-eye coordination for quick, accurate movements
- Able to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds
