Key Skills and Job Duties

  • Train and manage production team members on the assigned shift.
  • Recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the shift supervisor or plant manager.
  • Operate various manufacturing line equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools when necessary.
  • Ensure product quality output. Alert plant manager and maintenance team as necessary with adjustments of the line process are needed.
  • Perform quality checks of ramen noodles as defined by specifications.
  • Assure components and process comply with quality specifications before moving on to next stage in production line.
  • Suggest improvements that contribute to improved quality, increased productivity and/or improved work environment.
  • Compliance with stopping process if safety is at risk or quality requirements cannot be met.
  • Keep with the pace of the surrounding environment.
  • Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards including food sanitation (GMP) guidelines.
  • Responsible for any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to stand/walk/listen for up to 8-10 hours per shift.
  • Frequent use of hands to feel or operate machinery.
  • Must be punctual and have proven good attendance.
  • Able to perform repetitive movements.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Comfortable with working in variable temperatures (hot and/or cold).
  • Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Be a team player, able to communicate well with others.
  • Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environment

Qualifications

  • Quality, safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including but not limited to, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and work conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in all Albany Farms quality and safety training programs.
  • Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience a plus.
  • Pass a pre offer employment drug screen and background check.
