Production Line Lead

Essential Functions

• Provides direction to crew members working on the line
• Ensures machines operate at optimal efficiency, minimizing downtime
• Performs maintenance on production equipment as necessary
• Ensures machine setup before each run and tear down after each run
• Maintains production standards
• Maintains area housekeeping
• Makes sure products are counted and placed correctly into boxes
• Maintains date code quality and ensures date changes
• Prepares products for shipping as needed
• Monitors quality of the products, notifying appropriate personnel of any defects
• Looks for ways to create continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational and planning skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Bilingual (Spanish)
